We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and social media extraordinaire join our Marketing team at KoreConX.  As a Community Builder, you will be responsible for engaging with all our stakeholders, and encouraging participation in our business.

We offer comprehensive training on our specific business operations and equip you with the product knowledge you need to excel.  This remote position allows you to perform all of your duties from your home office.   Candidates are required to have a reliable computer and internet access.

Our ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, experience with social media and/or PR, and the ability to create engaging content. They are interested in the latest social media trends, comfortable with using different social media monitoring and website analytics tools, and capable of managing multiple digital channels. 

As a Community Builder at KoreConX, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining a vibrant, interactive, and supportive community around our SaaS platform. 

Your mission will be to strengthen relationships, drive user engagement, and promote brand loyalty through effective community-building strategies.

  • Develop and execute creative engagement tactics and strategies 
  • Build and nurture relationships with other businesses, subject matter experts, thought leaders, existing community members, and other stakeholders
  • Create and implement community network plans taking into account planned objectives
  • Facilitate direct communication with target groups using effective networking
  • Promote and organize virtual and physical events using community-building tools
  • Work with our marketing and PR teams to assist with the implementation of programs, activities, and other initiatives that contribute to growing a community and raising awareness of our brand

Responsibilities:

  • Community Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive community-building strategy to drive user engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty.
  • User Advocacy: Identify, nurture, and empower user advocates who can contribute positively to the community by sharing their experiences and knowledge.
  • Content Creation: Create and curate engaging content, such as blog posts, webinars, tutorials, and newsletters, to share valuable insights and drive discussions within the community.
  • Community Engagement: Proactively engage with community members through forums, social media, and other platforms to answer questions, provide support, and encourage meaningful discussions.
  • Events and Webinars: Plan and host virtual and in-person events, webinars, and workshops to bring the community together, share knowledge, and showcase new product features.
  • Feedback Loop: Act as the voice of the community, gathering user feedback, pain points, and feature requests, and sharing this information with the product and development teams to drive product improvement.
  • Community Guidelines: Develop and enforce community guidelines to ensure a respectful, inclusive, and positive atmosphere within the community.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor community metrics and provide regular reports on community health, engagement, and the impact of community initiatives.
  • Partnerships: Collaborate with industry influencers and partners to expand the community and create mutually beneficial relationships.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in community development and outreach (organizing virtual communities is preferred)
  • Ability to identify, analyze, develop, and maintain partnerships that benefit the community and company
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in community management or a related role within a SaaS-based company.
  • Strong understanding of the SaaS industry and the needs and challenges of the target user base.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using community management tools and platforms.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • A passion for networking, relationship-building, and fostering a sense of belonging among community members.
  • Knowledge of data analytics and reporting to track community engagement and success.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, with a positive, can-do attitude.
