Director of Marketing & Communications

Our Director Marketing Communications creates, coordinates, and delivers the messaging and positioning for our various technology solutions for both our individuals and corporate clients. This position is responsible for the creation and appropriate dissemination of content across multiple channels and assets including website content, offline collateral, webcasts, social media, email, partners, and press as well as online advertisements and advertorials.

The Director Marketing & Communications will work closely with marketing, product development, sales, finance, and compliance team members. This is a cross-departmental, high visibility position that will interact with business owners and the executive team on a daily basis.

Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Marketing and Communications will support the marketing and communications efforts of all practices. The position will work collaboratively with a small tight-knit team to develop and support KoreConX’s international brand, traditional and social media marketing programs, international network, KoreConX International; corporate partnerships, public relations, communication strategies, both internally and externally.

Responsibilities 

  • Work closely with senior management to develop a content strategy and key messages
  • Strategize with senior team members to identify targeting strategies and external messaging to increase KoreConX’s current niche and presence in key market segments and areas.
  • Develop and drive content for product launches, campaigns, web/social media, multimedia, and PR opportunities
  • Create a library of literature and analysis that can be used by the sales and marketing teams
  • Own client education and communication
  • Develop and maintain and content calendar
  • Develop presentations, collateral, positioning documents, and sales the new product value in terms of the overall company’s position within the market
  • Oversee vendors and contracts, including writers, copyeditors, and other like employees.
  • Identify industry trends and opportunities to create relevant messaging to increase brand awareness.   
  • Strategize, plan, and execute marketing communications projects related to the positioning, promotion, and branding of KoreConX and all of its practices
  • Initiate and support the development and execution of KoreConX marketing and communications initiatives
  • Be the Brand Ambassador.
  • Function as KoreConX’s subject matter expert with regard to consistency in marketing communications, public relations, positioning, and promotion of KoreConX with external media
  • Design and deliver events that allow us to build and foster deep client and partner relationships
  • Manage internal communications and content
  • Facilitate internal communication across practice areas
  • Identify opportunities to market and promote KoreConX and its people through press releases, publication (both printed and digital), public appearances, professional association conferences, and other opportunities.
  • Support the business development function of the practice areas.
  • Strong writing and oral communication skills.
